2008 WaterStreet Market Festival - June 7 & 8
The 5th Annual WaterStreet Market Music, Art, &
Surf Fest will kick off Saturday June 7th at 10am
with our annual ribbon-cutting ceremonies. One
for the next stars in the South Texas Music Walk
of Fame, and one for the unveiling of the newest
exhibit in the Texas Surf Museum entitled, Texas
Women. Texas Waves.
The fun happens in Downtown Corpus Christi on
Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 10am-6pm. FREE
Live Music all day: Rock, Blues, Country & Jazz.
Art Booths from your favorite local artists, and

TEXAS SURF MUSEUM
Corpus Christi has a new reason to be proud.
The Texas Surf Museum opened June 3rd, 2004, to
celebrate the great legacy of Texas
Surfers and the impact on the world of surfing of
our Texas pioneer wave riders. Visitors will
delight at the photographs, stories, and tall
tales of surfers who've been making surf history
since the 1920's.

New Exhibit opens June 7th
Don't miss this exciting new exhibit featuring the
women of the Texas gulf coast who tamed these
waves, alongside the boys, as early as the
1950's.
